After worship on Sunday 18th October between 11am and midday the Menzshed invite you to come and have a look at what’s happening.  We have applied to the Council for compliance for the classroom with all the requirements of the building consent hopefully met.  The classroom is set up as a woodworking workshop and the old Sunday School room as an electronics workshop and a social room.  We hope to initially open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, with the electronics room open Wednesday evenings.  We expect this to increase.  Blokes will be able to work on their own projects, but we also plan to undertake projects together that benefit the wider community.  We really appreciate the support of the congregation and would love to show you the facility and meet you face to face.

We invite you to attend the Christian World Service Supporters’ Council 7:30 – 9:30pm, Friday 30 October 2020 in the Wananga Room, Aldersgate at 309 Durham St, Christchurch (or by Zoom).

Speaker: Professor David Tombs, Centre for Theology and Public Issues, University of Otago on ‘Who are we? Learning from the Past, Looking to the Future’

People are welcome after 6pm for refreshments from 6.30 – 7.30 pm.
