A very warm welcome to all who worship here today. Please stay for a cuppa and conversation after the service. Many thanks to Rev Heather Simpson for leading our worship this morning.

We give thanks for the lives of Doug Johns & Jennifer Mably, and we pray for the families and friends as they mourn. Both were laid to rest on Friday 9th October. May they rest in peace.

After worship NEXT Sunday between 11am and midday the Menzshed invite you to come and have a look at what’s happening.  We have applied to the Council for compliance for the classroom with all the requirements of the building consent hopefully met.  The classroom is set up as a woodworking workshop and the old Sunday School room as an electronics workshop and a social room.  We hope to initially open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, with the electronics room open Wednesday evenings.  We expect this to increase.  Blokes will be able to work on their own projects, but we also plan to undertake projects together that benefit the wider community.  We really appreciate the support of the congregation and would love to show you the facility and meet you face to face.
